| The oldest known grape variety, probably
originated in Greece and carried by Phoenician soldiers to Europe during
the Charlemagne reign. The Spaniards and Italians brought it to America.
Today there are over 200 varieties and it is the only grape to produce
wine with the same aroma as the grape itself. The Muscat Blanc and
Muscat Canelli have pronounced spice and floral notes it can also be used
for blending. A versatile grape that can turn into anything from Asti Spumante and Muscat de Canelli to a dry wine like Muscat d'Alsace.
This grape produces a white, off-dry to ultra-sweet wine with wildly
fruity aromas and soft, delicate flavors. It’s perfect for brunches,
picnics and as a summer afternoon supper. |
